At our school, we believe that a love of reading is the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Our curriculum is built around high-quality, texts that spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and bring learning to life. Each topic is driven by a rich and engaging book, which acts as a springboard for cross-curricular exploration—from history and science to art and geography. These texts not only provide a window to develop essential literacy skills but also provide meaningful contexts for children to connect, question, and grow as confident learners. Alongside these text are other supplementary texts which further support learning within subjects - these are found in the year group overviews.
